Has completed Beginner camp and is entering 7th grade and above. Learn to design, cut, and sew your first quilt! We will focus on the basics of quilt construction, including safe rotary cutting, sewing a 1/4” seam, laying out the backing, batting, and top, and then tying a quilt to finish it off.
Botanical illustration - teen/tween ages 11-15 Morven Museum is renowned for its historic gardens including colonial revival and kitchen gardens as well as the great lawn. Campers will spend days outdoors among the plants and flowers observing nature at its finest. Then, using pencil and watercolor, they will develop artistic skills to create botanical compositions and a summer sketchbook. Architectural drawing - teen/tween ages 11-15 Morven was built in the 1750s on land granted by William Penn in 1701 to the Stockton family. From the 18th through the 21st century Morven has had various inhabitants and its structure many architectural changes. Travel through time exploring the master touches that make Morven.

Hone your survival skills using your maker skills, engineering and science to prove you could live out a zombie apocalypse! First, let us teach you about the biology of zombies and why we have nothing to fear. Then campers will learn about the keys and tools needed for survival when there is no electricity, clean water, or shelter. We will build new inventions to keep the human race alive, including water filtration, solar powered machines, and even a way to produce our own food. Take your creations home to teach your family and friends all the new skills you learned!
Camps are available Monday to Friday with 2 daily sessions to choose from: 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm. There is a different Camp Theme every 2 weeks: Jungle Safari, Gymnastics, Ninja Training, Carnival & STEAM. During Camp, children will enjoy structured gym activities revolving around the theme, music/dancing, free play, arts/crafts, and snack time. You may sign up for all ten weeks or pick the amount of sessions that work for you and secure those dates in advance. If you want to drop in for the day, 2-day notice is required.
Looking for FUN indoor activities for children ages 3 yrs and UP? Come to TUMBLES to play in our Tumble Zone! Tumble Zone is a NEW & CLEAN 3-story indoor play structure allowing children to "Get Fit for the Fun of It" by climbing and utilizing lots of different activities within the structure. Parents can relax and watch their kids play while using our free Wifi to work or sit back and have some well-deserved "me time!" Get creative this summer with Paint-a-Treasure's July and August camps! Choose either daily, 1 week or 2 weeks of workshops. Each day will offer a different creative theme. Campers will have a blast completing 2 projects per day which will include various mediums such as pottery painting, canvas painting and lots of mixed media.
Jimmy Kennedy (1902–84) was an Irish songwriter best known for putting words to existing music such as Teddy Bears’ Picnic. Let’s celebrate summer with a teddy bear picnic full of fun and surprises…and we’ll even play Jimmy Kennedy’s song, too. Bring your favorite teddy bear and we’ll provide the picnic snacks and take-home craft (weather permitting) in Morven’s gardens! Pre-registration required.
Come in and play on our play floor designed specifically for crawlers up to 5 years of age. Free play on our equipment and play floor in a safe and clean indoor play area. Open play Gym is free for all members. Drop in rates are available for non-members.
Here, the participant will have an extra opportunity to work on skills he or she has been learning in classes or reinforce skills already acquired. Instructors are on hand to provide guidance to all participants.
The Arts Council of Princeton, in partnership with the Princeton Shopping Center, presents the 2018 Summer Courtyard Concert Series. This summer’s performers include Dirk Quinn Band, Blawenburg Band, Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba, DCFusion, Trinidelphia, BRIZ and the Revival, Grace Little Band, Eco Del Sur, Octavia Blues Band, and Michael Austin. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab dinner in the shopping center and enjoy the free concert series every Thursday. Ample parking is available at the Princeton Shopping Center.
