Come explore the amazing world of robotics! We will design and build a small robot (no motors/electronics). During the week you will develop a basic understanding of coding. Play, tinker, explore, and learn as you make Cubetto complete a variety of tasks. Using an Arduino controller, Cubetto, a robot designed specifically for children ages 4-7, is controlled through the placement of simple blocks. No typing, no screens. Learn basic coding through experimentation. Challenges will be both individual and group-based.
Come play at Princeton Playspace’s state-of-the art indoor playground – the best in Central New Jersey! It’s 5,000 square feet of fun for children and adults! We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and friendliness! Princeton Playsapce was designed to support your child’s development every step of the way. We have activities ranging from active play to pretend play in order to keep your children entertained all day. This includes a jungle gym, pretend town, train table, construction area, infant/toddler area and more! In the words of Albert Einstein, "play is the highest form of research".
Join us for a guided tour of the butterfly house to view and learn about local butterfly species. If time and weather allows, we may try catching wild butterflies in the field. Cameras welcome. Tours will continue weekly, all summer.
Join us every Wednesday, from June 26 through August 21, for our free weekly Maker Space program! Each week we’ll offer a different challenge for visitors to make and take home. Maker Space is held in the Imagination Studio on the Museum's lower level.
