Inventing, Exploring, and Making: STEAM for Girls Only

Monday, July 22, 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM

scienceSeeds, 29 Emmons Drive Suite G10, Princeton, NJ 08540

The Maker movement has fostered and re-invigorated the hands-on exploration of science, art, technology, and engineering. Discover what it means to tinker and make and what the Maker movement is all about! Explore programming (Scratch), build robots, experiment with circuits, make non-electronic arcade games, design contraptions, build catapults, and much more. Do you have an idea you want to explore? Come build it. We hope to provide an encouraging environment for our female scientists, whether they are passionate mad scientists or just started a budding interest in STEAM fields. Our Makers will go home with new knowledge and skills that we hope will encourage them to continue the movement.
