Entering 6th grade or above and confident in sewing on a machine (made projects similar to Beginners/Masters before), OR has completed Beginners and Masters classes. A whole new array of projects from last year! This time we are making a matching outfit of a stretch knit top (“The Lark Tee”) and tiered elastic skirt, with accessories from the “Everyday Essentials” book - interfaced tote bag, lined pouch with curved zipper top, and zipper wallet with a snap. We will learn new techniques and sewing from measurements.

We focus on learning basic skills, and build on them as the week progresses making practical but fun projects perfect for beginners. By the end of the week the goal is that she/he will possess the knowledge and confidence to sew projects at home for gifts or themselves.

Camps are available Monday to Friday with 2 daily sessions to choose from: 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm. There is a different Camp Theme every 2 weeks: Jungle Safari, Gymnastics, Ninja Training, Carnival & STEAM. During Camp, children will enjoy structured gym activities revolving around the theme, music/dancing, free play, arts/crafts, and snack time. You may sign up for all ten weeks or pick the amount of sessions that work for you and secure those dates in advance. If you want to drop in for the day, 2-day notice is required.

Have you ever wanted to write your own video games? Join us for this quick introduction to game programming. We will examine fundamental game design principles, then plan and program our games with GameMaker. Join us for this fun week long intro and catch the programming bug. Come see what you can create and share with your friends. Check out our afternoon electronics camp. Students signed up for both stay for lunch at camp. Please note that this camp's hours are 9:00am - 12:00pm. Check out the afternoon Introduction to Electronics session (1:00pm - 4:00pm) too! We offer extended care (early drop-off 8:00am) for an additional fee. You can sign up for extended care during camp registration.

Whether or not you are a programming novice or have tried your hand at coding, we are sure you will find something new in our SCRATCH programming class. Learn to use Scratch an interactive programming language and/or discover new things you can design with this incredibly flexible and powerful language. Create Animations, make your own video games and learn basic programming concepts. We will also be programming simple robots (LEGO WEDOs) time permitting. Students will be set up with their own personal accounts. Camp Hours are 9:00am-12:00pm. There is an early morning drop-off option. Students signed up for our afternoon camp should bring lunch and stay for the full day.

For Mars Peculiarity Rover, life on Mars consists of cataloguing rocks and transmitting back to an Earth that feels further and further away all the time - but everything changes the day a star falls and an alien star-catcher comes chasing after it. This romp through the solar system is a playful exploration of scientific discovery, dogs in space, and how friendships can transform even a lonely red planet. After each performance, actors will come out to meet with children, sign their programs, and talk about their characters and the play. "Greetings From Mars," Princeton Summer Theater's 2018 Children's Show, written by Annika Bennet and directed by Daniel Krane.
