Entering 6th grade or above and confident in sewing on a machine (made projects similar to Beginners/Masters before), OR has completed Beginners and Masters classes. A whole new array of projects from last year! This time we are making a matching outfit of a stretch knit top (“The Lark Tee”) and tiered elastic skirt, with accessories from the “Everyday Essentials” book - interfaced tote bag, lined pouch with curved zipper top, and zipper wallet with a snap. We will learn new techniques and sewing from measurements.
\Have an epic time at SkyCamp! Kids can have fun while staying active, with instructor-led activities like age-appropriate exercise and Ultimate Dodgeball. It's easy and hassle-free for parents: Drop 'em off and we'll make sure they have the best experience ever. Offered full and half day.
Entering 4th grade and above, and eagerness to learn sewing. A whole week of sewing to introduce young students to machine sewing! We focus on learning basic skills, and build on them as the week progresses making practical but fun projects perfect for beginners. By the end of the week the goal is that she/he will possess the knowledge and confidence to sew projects at home for gifts or themselves.
Camps are available Monday to Friday with 2 daily sessions to choose from: 9am-12pm and/or 1pm-4pm. There is a different Camp Theme every 2 weeks: Jungle Safari, Gymnastics, Ninja Training, Carnival & STEAM. During Camp, children will enjoy structured gym activities revolving around the theme, music/dancing, free play, arts/crafts, and snack time. You may sign up for all ten weeks or pick the amount of sessions that work for you and secure those dates in advance. If you want to drop in for the day, 2-day notice is required.
Have you ever wanted to write your own video games? Join us for this quick introduction to game programming. We will examine fundamental game design principles, then plan and program our games with GameMaker. Join us for this fun week long intro and catch the programming bug. Come see what you can create and share with your friends. Check out our afternoon electronics camp. Students signed up for both stay for lunch at camp. Please note that this camp's hours are 9:00am - 12:00pm. Check out the afternoon Introduction to Electronics session (1:00pm - 4:00pm) too! We offer extended care (early drop-off 8:00am) for an additional fee. You can sign up for extended care during camp registration.
Whether or not you are a programming novice or have tried your hand at coding, we are sure you will find something new in our SCRATCH programming class. Learn to use Scratch an interactive programming language and/or discover new things you can design with this incredibly flexible and powerful language. Create Animations, make your own video games and learn basic programming concepts. We will also be programming simple robots (LEGO WEDOs) time permitting. Students will be set up with their own personal accounts. Camp Hours are 9:00am-12:00pm. There is an early morning drop-off option. Students signed up for our afternoon camp should bring lunch and stay for the full day.

Featured shows: 10:00 am - Earth, Moon and Sun (all ages); 11:00am - Magic Tree House (suitable for preschool and up); and 1:00pm - Dark Universe (general audiences).
Geppetto creates a puppet out of a magical piece of wood from an enchanted tree. Pinocchio the puppet, goes on a wild adventure as he discovers what it means to be a real boy. Along the way you’ll meet the Blue Fairy, Cricky, The Ring master and Mr.Fox and Mrs. Cat as the all assist Pinocchio on his way. Shows at 11am & 1pm.

For Mars Peculiarity Rover, life on Mars consists of cataloguing rocks and transmitting back to an Earth that feels further and further away all the time - but everything changes the day a star falls and an alien star-catcher comes chasing after it. This romp through the solar system is a playful exploration of scientific discovery, dogs in space, and how friendships can transform even a lonely red planet. After each performance, actors will come out to meet with children, sign their programs, and talk about their characters and the play. "Greetings From Mars," Princeton Summer Theater's 2018 Children's Show, written by Annika Bennet and directed by Daniel Krane.
Bring the kids for a special a live theater performance in the Museum’s Auditorium. Yah-Oh-Way, meaning “it is good” in Hopi, highlights the complexity of Native American societies. Honor and celebrate history and cultural diversity of Native peoples through songs, dances, and traditions of many North American tribes. To explore more about Native American Societies visit the new exhibit, Hearth and Home. Tickets are $3 per person, cash only. Seating is limited; first come, first serve basis.

Fun, supervised gymnastics for all ages. No pre-registration required . . . Open gym is a wonderful way to introduce your baby to the thrill of basic ovement/motor development as well as socialization and interaction with others. Also some time is spent on skills that challenge this age group more. Gymnastic apparatus is utilized to teach hanging, balancing, swinging, jumping, rolling, stretching, twisting and turning as well as familiarity with basic gymnastic skills. 3 years – 6 years
What do iPads, PCs, cars, appliances have in common? They all rely on very similar, simple electronic components. Learn the basic physics behind electricity and how we use it. Then explore transistors, capacitors, resistors, learn to use bread boards. Our older students will try their hands at soldering and use this new knowledge to design circuits that light up, make noise, flash, and more! See how far you can push the envelope!
Have you ever wondered how batteries work? Do you know why an open switch doesn't let electricity through? Have you ever wanted to build a circuit, try conductive dough? Do you know what makes materials conductive? Join us as we learn about circuits, power and electrical energy. Simple circuits, electric toys, and alternate sources of electricity will be explored.
Come in and play on our play floor designed specifically for crawlers up to 5 years of age. Free play on our equipment and play floor in a safe and clean indoor play area. Open play Gym is free for all members. Drop in rates are available for non-members.
