Our 60-minute stroller fitness classes cater to moms of all fitness levels: pregnant moms, new moms, and moms with one or more stroller-aged children. Our interval-based classes incorporate cardio, strength, and core for a total body workout. Fitness for you. Fun for your little one.
From Lego robotics to the mBot and Marty (our walking robot), we have robots that can kick, move, dance, and - most importantly - obey your commands. Remember the robots will only do what you tell them to do. Join us for a week of fun challenges and competition where you will discover how sensors work, develop your programming skills, and discover the amazing and versatile world of robotics. Work with a partner to develop challenges for other groups to conquer. Think outside the box and put your imagination and innovation skills to work!
Join us for a week of hands-on fun as we explore the world of programming, building, and the exciting field of robotics. Through a series of challenges, your child will learn basic programming concepts as they try to make their robot follow a line, move an object, and more. Participants will gain an understanding of how robots work and learn about electricity and circuits as well.
Join us for a guided tour of the butterfly house to view and learn about local butterfly species. If time and weather allows, we may try catching wild butterflies in the field. Cameras welcome. Tours will continue weekly, all summer.
Looking for a creative way for your kids to spend their summer days? This week-long experience is perfect for your junior crafters. During this week, kids will be encouraged to discover, design and create with a variety of materials and will come away with several finished projects ranging from paper crafts to clay creations. Classes run for two hours every Monday - Friday.
Join us every Wednesday, from June 26 through August 21, for our free weekly Maker Space program! Each week we’ll offer a different challenge for visitors to make and take home. Maker Space is held in the Imagination Studio on the Museum's lower level.
Join us every Wednesday for Storytime in our Children's Department featuring your favorite characters and wacky adventures. Coloring activities to follow.
Come in and play at our Open Play Gym. Parents and children aged mobile – 5 years of age are welcome to join us for some free play time in our specially designed play scape. Free for Members, drop in rates available for Non-Members.
