This is a parent/guardian participation class that is supervised by one of our experienced Toddler Class Instructors. It is a wonderful way to introduce your baby to the thrill of basic movement/motor development as well as socialization and interaction with others. 19 months–36 months This is also a parent/guardian participation class that is supervised by one of our experienced Toddler Class Instructors. In addition to basic movement/motor development, socialization, and interaction with others, more time is spent on skills that challenge this age group more. Gymnastic apparatus is utilized to teach hanging, balancing, swinging, jumping, rolling, stretching, twisting and turning as well as familiarity with basic gymnastic skills. 3 years – 6 years Children 3 years old and up have an extra opportunity to work on skills they have been learning in classes or to reinforce skills they have already acquired. Instructors are on hand to provide guidance to your child.

Through highly engaging and activity packed sessions, participants will learn about various astronomy topics. Each session will also include information from the International Dark Sky Association about reasonable, cost effective strategies to help us all preserve darkness as an ecological resource. To bolster your “astro-literacy” sign up for each individual session to complete the series or select the ones of your choice. All classes are taught by Ranger Bob, well known at Duke Farms as a knowledgeable instructor who facilitates fun and enriching learning experiences for all.
