Stories, songs, rhymes, fingerplays and movement for children 18 months and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Sprouts: Young Explorers is a one-hour program held from 10:00-11:00am one Thursday per month. Each session will include a book, an environmentally based activity or two, and time outside for exploring. Younger siblings may join us, but please remember to register and dress appropriately. An adult must accompany their child, make sure everyone bundles up in the winter and early spring months. After class, we hope you investigate our exhibits, further enjoy our children’s literature and resources available in Story Grove and continue to capture the beauty of our natural setting.

Drop in for general public skating. Skates can be rented for $4 per pair. Frequent skater passes and season passes also are available.

Doreen Rappaport’s picture-book biography introduces one of the world’s most influential leaders, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., to young readers. Martin's Big Words is an unforgettable portrait of a man whose dream changed America forever and whose image is depicted by various artists throughout Morven’s latest exhibition Dreaming of Utopia: Roosevelt, New Jersey. Children will create a “big words” collage to take home and inspire big dreams, following the reading.
Following Baby Storytime at 11 a.m., parents, caregivers and children up to 17 months old are invited to stay for our play group. No big kids allowed.
