Toddler Time is a great shared experience for child and parent. A time for your little ones to discover the joy of being active, bouncing under the supervision of their parents, and without interference from the big kids.
Join us for February’s Small Explorers program, where we’ll explore African American Artists. with a focus on Jacob Lawrence and Romaire Bearden. Our story is “Jake Makes a World” by Sharifa Rhodes-Pitts. We’ll be visit the American Perspectives gallery to view “The Museum Lesson” by Jacob Lawrence and “Gramophone Years” by Romaire Bearden. Then we head back to the STEAM Center for painting and collage projects. This free program is designed for children 6 months to 5 years old and their caregiver. Explore literary connections to the current exhibition Masayuki Koorida: Sculpture with friends and family. Experience Japanese folklore come alive through kamishibai (paper theater) and engage with Masayuki Koorida’s work on view. Recommended for ages 6-10 and their adult companions. Space is limited; pre-registration encouraged. Children must be accompanied by an adult companion.
Soar into space in the New Jersey State Museum's Planetarium! The Planetarium regularly premiers new and exciting shows for a variety of ages that feature state-of-the-art Full DomeVideo. Featured shows: 11:00 am - The Little Star hat Could (for younger audiences.); 12:00pm - Earth, Moon, Sun (all ages); 1:00pm - Dinosaurs at Dusk (all ages); 2:00pm Asteroid: Mission Extreme (all ages); and 3:00pm Dark Universe (all ages).

Here, the participant will have an extra opportunity to work on skills he or she has been learning in classes or reinforce skills already acquired. Instructors are on hand to provide guidance to all participants.

We're different after dark. Lasers, music and blacklight transform the whole park into a crazy jumping dance club. Flips are limited to Foam Zone during Glow.
