Reenactors, Live Music, and Art for All Ages This Fourth of July, Morven, the home of one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence, opens its historic grounds to all for free family fun from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. “Meet” George Washington and Annis Stockton, “Sign” the Declaration, Take part in demonstrations of Early American Domestic Arts portrayed by more than a dozen professional reenactors including: blacksmithing, ice cream making, papermaking, tales from a soldier’s life, and more! Food Truck fare available for purchase Special family admission price for visitors wishing to tour the museum on the 4th: $25 per family. Parking is available at the Princeton Theological Seminary or Monument Hall parking lots, or on the street. With so many children at the event, there will be no on-site parking at Morven. The Arts Council of Princeton, in partnership with the Princeton Shopping Center, presents the 2018 Summer Courtyard Concert Series. This summer’s performers include Dirk Quinn Band, Blawenburg Band, Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba, DCFusion, Trinidelphia, BRIZ and the Revival, Grace Little Band, Eco Del Sur, Octavia Blues Band, and Michael Austin. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, grab dinner in the shopping center and enjoy the free concert series every Thursday. Ample parking is available at the Princeton Shopping Center. This romp through the solar system is a playful exploration of scientific discovery, dogs in space, and how friendships can transform even a lonely red planet. After each performance, actors will come out to meet with children, sign their programs, and talk about their characters and the play. "Greetings From Mars," Princeton Summer Theater's 2018 Children's Show, written by Annika Bennet and directed by Daniel Krane.
