Details: Are you looking for something for your child to do around Presidents’ Day weekend? Join us for winter camp! Every day will be a new adventure, so you can register for one day or all three! Enjoy these winter days outside with friends while engaging with nature. The program is recommended for grades 1st-6th (ages 6–11) and runs from 8:30am to 4:00pm, with extended care available from 7:30-8:30am before camp and 4:00-5:30pm after camp. The daily schedule of farm animal feeding, exploration, snack, and choice activities mirrors the special Fernbrook Farms summer camp schedule but with seasonal winter activities.

Great Backyard Bird Count

We will be participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC), which is a citizen-science project that helps ornithologists take a snapshot of bird populations. Family Barn Dance for All Ages

Location: Suzanne Patterson Center, Princeton

Details: Our family-friendly dance features square dances, contra dances, play party games and other traditional American dances; it’s great fun for the whole family, from young children (ages 4 and up) to parents and grandparents and other adult friends. The dances will be led by nationally-known caller John Krumm, with warmth and humor, and live music will be provided by the Mixed Age Dance Band. Musicians of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the MAD Band - there is a rehearsal immediately before each family dance. Dances take place at the Suzanne Patterson Center, 1 Monument Drive, Princeton, NJ. The dance is open to people of all ages; no partner is needed; no experience is needed.
