Spring Break Camp: Mission to Mars

April 24, 2019

9:00 AM - 3:30 PM

An astronaut has been stranded on the red planet. Imagine it was you? What would you need to do to survive? In this week-long camp we will learn about Mars and its environment. We'll design a landing system and rover for exploring Mars's surface, discuss habitats that we could survive in, and compare Earth and Mars's temperature. We'll construct a model of the Solar System and compare planetary sizes, use play dough to create models of lava flows to analyse the layers that form a planet and much more. Projects and activities will depend on the age of the participants. Camp is a week-long event Possibility of day by day registrations - contact us if you are interested.
