Smithsonian Museum Day: Baroque Music & Victorian Flowers at Morven

Morven is participating in Smithsonian Magazine’s national Museum Day, offering free admission to all Museum Day ticket holders. Docent-led tours will be offered at 11:00 a.m., noon, 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. *Separate tickets required for each event* "Generations Baroque Ensemble" Concert: 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. $10; Free for Friends of Morven This year’s theme, “Year of Music” will be celebrated, in part, with a musical performance from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. by "Generations Baroque Ensemble". Victorian Pressed Flower Workshop: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. $25; $15 for Friends of Morven Morven’s Curator of Education and Public Programming Debra Lampert-Rudman, will help students to learn the “love language” of flowers, enjoy an illustrated powerpoint on this Victorian art form, and create artwork of your own special design suitable for framing.
