The Small Explorers program has added a third session starting this month! Sessions are offered on the 3rd weekend of each month - Friday at 2 pm, and Saturday at 10 am and 12 noon. October’s Small Explorers program theme is Land of Pines/conservation. We’ll read Tall Tall Tree” by Anthony D. Fredericks, then visit the “Preserving the Pinelands” exhibit, then head back to the classroom, where families can try painting with pine needles, investigate a tree touch-box, and learn about the animals who live in the pines. This free program is offered Friday at 2 pm and Saturday at 10 am and 12 noon. It’s designed for children 6 months to 5 years old and their caregiver. Space is limited, reservations are required. Registration form is on the Museum website, email completed form to Kerry.Scott@sos.nj.gov to reserve your spot. Reservation requests must be received by 10:00 am the Friday.
