Enjoy Open Gym, Obstacle course, Tumble Zone, Costume Contest and Trunk-or-Treat. Participating families will park their family cars in our parking lot. Parents and guardians will wait with candy at their trunks to give to the children as they "trick-or-treat" in the parking lot. (Parents/guardians: please bring a small amount of candy to give out, between 10 and 20 pieces.) Join Us for a Happy Halloween for the Community. In this unusual parade, parade "floats" will be stationary as participating families drive by to be entertained with music, costumes, and decorations on our theme: "I Love Land Because..." Special appearances by Mutts characters Earl and Mooch, Trenton Thunder’s Boomer, live music, live animals and more. Passengers are encouraged to create lively signs to the event theme of “I Love LAND Because…Join Us by Clicking HERE to purchase your carload ticket! You will receive an email confirming your reservation. Please bring it with you, it will serve as your ticket to March your Car in the drive-thru Parade.

The Railroad offers a safe place for families to enjoy all the fun and excitement of Halloween. Bring the kids and climb aboard our 45 minute Trick or Treat Excursion. Children of all ages are encouraged to come dressed in their favorite costumes, helping to add to the train’s already child friendly and festive atmosphere. Enjoy the trip, while participating in the live reading of Spookley the Square Pumpkin. Cheerful, seasonal songs will also be performed by one of the railroad’s musicians. After arriving back in New Hope, passengers will have the opportunity to trick or treat around the station platform for more treats and surprises with our costumed characters! Official railroad trick or treat bags, assorted trinkets, and candy will be handed out both onboard the train as well as at the station!

The captivating theatrical experience celebrates the stories and culture of Day of the Dead, a traditional holiday that transcends borders. Join Sugar Skull, a charismatic candy skeleton, as he follows the music towards the ultimate party! Your participation is a donation to State Theatre New Jersey’s family programs. Donate What You Can—a minimum donation of $15 gives you access to this show for you and your family, larger donation amounts are greatly appreciated and help support State Theatre’s family programming. We will spend our time illustrating with pencils, pens, watercolors, markers inspired by these whimsical fungi and all the fanciful & magical things that accompany them. Please note that this class will take place inside the studio, and will be limited to 8 students. Please reference our COVID Safety Protocol page, and note that: 1) a mask must be worn by all people who enter the studio, and it must remain on for the duration of class 2) social distancing will be followed at all times - all students & instructors will maintain at least 6 feet between each other, and 3) temperature checks & a brief health survey will be conducted for all entering the studio.
