The Wilberforce School

Details: The Wilberforce School is a private preschool-12th grade classical Christian school in Princeton. At Wilberforce, we believe in teaching the whole child, from the inside out: intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually, growing students into lifelong learners.

The Lower School (preschool – 5th grade) focuses on the formation of good habits, joyful discovery, and introducing classical books and texts for a feast of learning. During the distinct and formative Middle School years (6th-8th grade), students are challenged both academically and in their character development at an advanced academic level. The Upper School (9th-12th grade) is a community of learners engaged in the rigorous exploration of reality, the exchange of ideas, and active participation in the fine arts. Students in the lower years are given the building blocks they need in order to thrive in an accelerated curriculum taught one grade level ahead, with Upper School students trained to engage with challenging primary sources and seminar-style discussions in the humanities and a college-level STEM curriculum.

We invite you to learn more at our Open Classrooms throughout the year to witness classrooms in action, or schedule a tour today!
